Starter Kit

I've been really pleasantly surprised with Selkie's shampoo & conditioner. I was initially quite skeptical as the shampoo definitely lacks the foaminess that bottle shampoos bring when washing but my hair has never felt so soft and healthy. I have very fine hair which usually becomes greasy within a day but I now get at least an extra day if not two before it needs washing again, very pleased! The price is a little high, but as I'm having to wash my hair less it actually works out quite well. I also really like the idea behind Selkie and it's the best alternative shampoo I've used so far. Half a point knock down for the conditioner, which doesn't do the best job of detangling. But overall, I'd definitely recommend!

Shocked at how good this product is, I have fine curly hair and an itchy scalp and always fork out for expensive shampoo and conditioner. I saw the promotion online and wanted to give it a go because I want to be more sustainable but wasn't expecting such good results. It's true that you need a bit more water to get a good lather with the shampoo, but I think that means the product has got less unnatural ingredients so it's just a change of habit. My hair is so soft and shiny and I've had less itchiness and irritation using Selkie than I have with with products I fork out £50+ for!! Converted and telling my friends and family!

I love how Selkie made my hair feel. I have really fine hair that gets oily quickly and this shampoo really works for me. My hair feels so smooth after using it. I love how I can also refill the product which reduce the plastic use. Highly recommend.

A few months ago I made the move over to Selkie after seeing it promoted online and I'm so happy I did. Initially, the lack of 'foaminess' that the shampoo provides in comparison to high street brands, was a struggle to get used to but I kept with it as my hair got its waves back, felt so much softer and less greasy. And now, a few months down the line I'm used to the way the shampoo works and feel so great when using it. Not only has it got a fab smell but it feels like I'm really doing my part in cutting down on plastics, which I've long been wanting to do. I really couldn't recommend it more and with so many people complimenting my hair, I find myself constantly spreading the Selkie word. Thanks so much guys xxx

Im now really pleased with Selkie purchase . It’s so gentle on the scalp and hair . My first use I wasn’t sure , as my hair seemed very greasy after washing . However I re watched the tutorial video and also found I only needed to use one pump of conditioner for my length hair. And now now I am so happy with the results . I shampoo with 2 pumps of shampoo twice only need to use one pump of conditioner on the ends and brush through and this works well for me . My hair is now tangle free , brushes easily with the selkie brush , which I love and in shiny and soft . I had some scabs on scalp which have now resolved . I’ve had problems with my hair and scalp for a long time and can’t believe how quickly they are resolving . So I’m so glad I continued with selkie . I love the powder sachets and sustainability. It’s easy to use just adding water and is great not to have single use plastics in the bathroom .without the use of shampoo bars . Which I found built up in my hair . Thankyou selkie
